Note from the President dated July 3rd, 2008:
To our Ishnala Residents,
Just a small reminder about a particular ordinance here in Palos Heights.
Any Garage Sale Signs or For Sale Signs must be placed on the Property Owner's
front lot. No signs of any nature should be placed in any common area and
that includes the Islands. Special permission is given to announce the
Homeowners Meetings. Realtors should be notified of this ordinance when
houses are put up for sale.
On a brighter note: we are discussing a social gathering for our
Ishnala Residents to meet with neighbors; Newcomers and those of us who have
been here awhile. If you have any ideas or would like to participate
as a volunteer, please contact our Social Committee, Larry and Jodi Donahue at
448-5144. Our anticipated dates would be late Fall, November 29th or
December 6th, giving us the opportunity of saying goodbye to summer and to look
forward to the harvest fall.
